Outstanding! I was driving past and spotted part of a Mig...stopped the car and turned and parked. A very cheap ticket and I was free to wander around a small 'eastern bloc' version of Davis Monthan AFB! Beginning with recovered wrecks and relics from wartime I walked by more Migs than I've seen in my life. Sukhois too, plus other aircraft. Then the helicopters, some trucks and AFV's, artillery and a T34/55. A really, really jaw dropping collection! I spent nearly two hours just in amazement. Then, icing on the cake, Peter (sp) very kindly let me strap myself into a Mig 21 and feel like I was 15 years old again and watching Top Gun! I was absolutely overjoyed - thank you so much! Worth a visit if passing by close to brno. Plenty of old MIGs and a few other Soviet era fighter aircraft as well as helicopters and military trucks and even a tank. A couple of good indoor displays of aircraft wrecks and parts. Cheap entrance fee (20czk for children and 50czk for adults)

Gestito da un gruppo di appassionati il museo dispone di molti esemplari di aerei e mezzi militari. Il costo del biglietto è veramente basso. Quindi facendo questa premessa le valutazioni che faccio sono una conseguenza. Gli aerei sono lasciati alle intemperie e meriterebbero un bel restauro conservativo. La zona in generale è abbastanza abbandonata. L'idea è quasi quella di essere da un demolitore d'auto. Peccato. Perché la visita comunque merita il viaggio. Peccato, perché a lungo andare quei mezzi perderanno nel tempo il loro valore storico. Bisognerebbe che questo musei costasse un po' di più per permettere un po' più di cura di tutto. Le mie 5 stelle sono per chi lo gestisce che comunque sono sicuro che fa il possibile per tenere aperto...
