Excellent for running. Big enough to comfortably fit in 20-30 km run basically without running twice on the same path. Very flat, so you can attack your personal best :-) On the other hand, some might find the lack of hills boring. Many beautiful narrow trails through the woods.

The Klánovice train stop is right in the middle so you can just hop off the train and get right to running. There is a restaurant and a small convenience store right next to the train stop - you can buy food there istead of carrying it while running, which is...

Nature Park Klánovice–Čihadla had always made us curious whenever we passed by train on the way to Slovakia—the huge forest stretching out looked so inviting. Eventually, we decided to explore it during one of our bike trips, and it was absolutely worth it.

The forest is enormous. At one point, we rode along a straight path for almost 3 km, surrounded only by trees and birds, with no other people in sight—just pure, untouched nature. It’s incredible to have such a vast, wild forest so close to Prague. I loved it, and being there felt...

Moc příjemná procházka v odpoledním vedru ve stínu stromů z Úval do Klánovic. Jde o největší přírodní park na území Prahy o rozloze 970 hektarů. Předmětem ochrany jsou vodní a mokřadní biotopy. I přes déle trvající vedra tu byly úseky cest podmáčené.

A very pleasant walk in the afternoon heat in the shade of the trees from Úvaly to Klánovice. It is the largest nature park in Prague with an area of 970 hectares. The object of protection are water and wetland habitats. Despite the prolonged heat, sections of the paths were waterlogged. Crossing such places, for example, with a pram or for immobile people can be very difficult. The Klánovice Forest was created in the 17th century after the disappearance of medieval settlements. Until the construction of the railway there were a number of ponds. The most interesting part of the trip for me was the nature trail "In the footsteps of the vast medieval village of Hol". Today, it is only revealed by the uneven terrain (foundations of the walls of the original buildings), an old well or two massive dams of...
