It's quite a great venue for casual meals by the pool, family outings, or even functions (they have a private room upstairs). During the dry season, the beach reopens where they play music and allows you to have a fun lounge vibe. It reminds me of Shimmy Beach Club in Cape Town. The worst policy about this place is the 7$ entrance fee. It's a tad silly. The price for the pool is separate. Even the kids' play area has a separate fee. For the cost of the food, drink, and pool access, the least they could do is drop the entrance fee. If the goal was to keep it only accessible to a select few, they're wrong because the place still attracts all kind of members of society. So, for the entrance fee alone, I took away 1 star. The food is copious and tasty, albeit slightly on the expensive side but still within the average prices in Kinshasa. I would have liked a bit more European food on the menu for a change. Paying twice the cost for the same food I'm accustomed to eat is a bit bit pushing. The service was slow, but they remained helpful and polite. If, like me, you've got kids, you'll love the fact that there are plenty of activities for them to be occupied while you sip on a nice cocktail, enjoying the view. The restaurant area is kept very clean and agreable and allows you to still enjoy the vibe while being kept away from the crowd and the music. It's a place I would recommend when in Kinshasa.

Magnifique pour une détente le week-end, ça vaut le coup d'affronter les embouteillages. Les prix ne sont pas à la portée de tous. Prévoir 5 ou 6 USD pour une bière.

7$ entrance fee per person which doesn’t cover anything!!!! You still pay for all services inside! absolutely ridiculous!! Ripoff! When I asked why I was told that we are paying for the comfort, which doesn’t even make sense! We were not offered anything.

The food menu is literally half a page with finger foods and about 4 main options, very pricey and mediocre! I tried the beignets as a starter it costed 9$ was hard and dry! For the main I had the liboke which was nice but still very pricey for the area.

The staff are incredibly slow!!! If you have any issue don’t bother asking for a manager as they never show up.

You can’t even enjoy the scenery and talk as there is a JD blasting loud music as if it were a nightclub not to mention explicit versions of songs even with children around!

Honestly take your time and money elsewhere this place is a joke! A quote on quote tourist attraction with no attraction to see! You can’t...

It really looked like a scam. When we arrived there, they told us that we had two choices: To either sit in a very sunny area without a beach umbrella but next to the river or to either sit in the VIP area but to buy a bottle of alcohol of a minimum amount of 50$.

We declined the VIP area and and chose to sit in the sunny area and asked for an umbrella beach. They said that there was no umbrella beach available. When we said we will pay for a bottle of 50$ as we did not have a choice, they said they could bring a beach umbrella. Their goal is to make people spend as much as possible.

The food was quite expensive, although tasty. I do not...
