Herstedhøje — Attraction in Albertslund Municipality

Though it is a very beautiful place where you can have a panoramic view of the surrounding nature from the above, remember to safeguard yourself from bees on top of the hill. I was there and attacked by bees. There was no tree on the hilltop, yet I have no idea where the bees were hiding. I ran down the hill immediately and the bees followed me. Magical place for a hilly hike. Great place for children. There is a nature visitor centre where you can learn about the place, the vegetation, plants and animals in the area. There is a small Cafe in the centre where you can buy beverages, ice cream and small deserts...

It's a wonderful view of the suburbs of Copenhagen. Easy roads up to the top both for walking and with bicycles. There will be sheep walking around at times but they are harmless. I enjoy the walk immensely...
