The experience I received at this village was amazing! I never knew much about the viking era nor how passionate some people are about teaching you about it. The three leaders Maria, Klaus and Jacob were excellent in the ways of not just showing us how to "be vikings" but explaining their lives and their culture. You could see how passionate they were even when just watching us do certain tasks. It is hard for me to completely explain what I got out of this experience, but it opened up my eyes more about certain cultures and I would highly recommend this to everyone! Go out of your comfort zone and live the life...

Small Viking homestead with a few houses. The place offers a Viking experience to groups and school kids in the municipality. They celebrate its anniversary on the first Saturday in September. On this day all the houses are open, and some work tasks and tools are presented.

Small authentic viking village in the forest close to the parking lot. You can walk here from the museum across the Viking bridge or you can park right nearby. Nice starting point for a walk in the nearby network of paths in the...

Want to see some viking houses ...This is a Nice place to go, and its free , bring the kids here and do a nice picknic, or go for a walk in the area/forest/fields, nice walking pathes, and if you are quiet and lucky you could see animals (parking is free too)

Lovely place for a weekend or post-work walk. The viking village is small and hyggelig, with cute animals nearby. Continue through the forest to get to Harald Bro, a viking style bridge, that will take you to a small pavillion and forest.
