This was my first European golf experience and it exceeded expectations. The Scandinavian lives up to its name, featuring an art deco clubhouse, a five-star restaurant, and beautifully maintained fairways and greens—worth every penny.
Booking tee times and rentals by email was seamless. The club is fully stocked with Titleist gear; I usually play Mizunos but tried the T200s for this round. I watched course reviews beforehand and learned many European courses, including this one, require a minimum 25 handicap. They ask for your index during the booking process.
I played the New course, host of the 2024 Euro Amateur Championship. The layout is tight, with my favorite being hole 11—a narrow dogleg left with a challenging 100ish-yard approach built over an old gun range. The New course was a great challenge, but the tree-lined fairways on the final few holes can feel isolating. I’d return to try the Old course, if they let me haha. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and seeing swans on the putting green was a unique...

I was touched to see the Canadian flag when I drove into the course, and was greeted by a kind professional named Emil who checked me in and even gave me a personalized name tag. The golf was spectacular, with the course in amazing condition. I played the front nine on my own (with two balls) and paired up with an American guest on the back nine. My entire day at the Scandinavian, including my 30-foot birdie putt on Hole #12, will be a memory I will treasure for a long time. Thank you to Emil and to the entire team at the...

The club house and the locker rooms are of exquisite design and the restaurant looked nice too. The layout of golf course (we played the new course) was interesting but we played more challenging layouts on other courses in Denmark. The rough and semi rough seemed neglected and the water traps were full of green seeweed and rotten branches. The greens were slow and full of defects. The areas in between the holes seemed neglected too. We payed a green fee of 200€ per person and were hugely disappointed. We communicated our disappointment to the Golf desk but they did not...
