Hjerting Strand — Attraction in Esbjerg Municipality

Beautiful beach with several free parking areas along the road to Esbjerg Harbour. The water is shallow and child friendly. There are crabs that can be easily caught with a net. There is a beautiful boardwalk with seating areas running from the hotel and restaurant. Children’s natural pool located about half way up the boardwalk. Two cafes serve ice cream and one has delicious Italian ice cream and pizza. Hammocks are put up on artistic poles located mid-beach by the boardwalk. One of my favorite places to go year round. Hvis man er til krabber, muslinger, måger og sandorm, så er der noget at komme efter, som badestrand er der plads til forbedringer.
