Super nice shallow beach with clean water and very safe for kids. Parking: plenty free parking near by. Restrooms: Available and are maintained well Near by attractions: Oscar under the bridge, troll by thomas Dambo, Arkens museum and children playgrounds with BBQ pits. I would say it is one of the best beach in Copenhagen area

Couldn’t ask for more. Great beach it was clear and less crowded. The water was so clear i at one point had a doubt. I dipped my phone took some videos too So clear the water was. Had parking and washroom facilities. There was a shower at the beach.

Lækkert vand og sand strand. Masser af små sandbanker ude foran stranden, som gør den god for små børn og deres forældre. Badebroer er der masser af, så man kan god komme lidt nemt ud til det dybe vand. Livredderen på stranden gør det lige lidt ekstra sikkert i forhold til os badegæsterne, så derfor er det klart en strand jeg vil anbefale. Selve stranden er okay, desværre er der mange mennesker som ikke kan finde ud af at rydde op efter sig, det gør stranden en del beskidt at se på og være i. De opsatte grille og wc-huse er gode og meget praktiske og gør en hele dages tur overskuelig.

There are two sections of beach area here. Ocean side you will find the traditional beach. Nice sandy beach with dunes and spots of privacy. Towards land you will find an area laid out for walking dogs and giving them access to the ocean all year around. You can walk your dog without a leash...
