Dyrehøj Vingaard — Attraction in Kalundborg Municipality

I highly recommend this place for everyone to go visit. The place is beautiful, the staff is amazing and their setup is impressive.

All their drinkables are made in-house, which is a lot. They have a wines, gins, whiskey, port wine, bobbles and much more. It all tastes delicious, and also looks very nice. You can have a taste if you want to, while there, so you know what you are buying.

The staff is very attentive, welcoming and service minded. You feel seen and taking care of, you hen you are there, which is just so lovely. They will show you around, tell you stories and give you samples to try.

They also have guided tours of the fields and distillery, tasting menus, a cafe, a art gallery, and other interesting things 🤩

This time when I was there I bought a gift box with gin, tonics and a small story on the back about the place. The price was good, and the quality in the top 💜

The restaurant at this place is very bad. The food is mediocre, very salty. For its price range we expected more. However, the service was what got to us the most. For example, we have a one year old toddler who isn’t able to handle a lot of salt yet. Instead of serving new fries they just served the old ones (plus the salt) after putting them in the fryer once more. Beautiful scenery and a very helpful lady in the shop/wine tasting area. I give this part a 4.5/5. Went to the Cafe for lunch and received the exact opposite with one of the waitresses there (the older lady out of the two that served us). She seemed very unwelcoming and our one request was asking too much of her. Unfortunately we don't read Danish so was surprised when our bill was for more than the price on the menu. Watch out for the extra charge if you share a plate of food. I give this part a 1.5/5. Even though food is of small portions, it was very delicious....
