Sehr feines kleines Museum. Der gute Herr Hempel hat irgendwann einmal angefangen Glas zu sammeln und daraus ist schließlich dieses Museum entstanden. Im Grunde ist es zweigeteilt - es gibt die große Halle mit den Vitrinen, in denen die Sammlerstücke nach Epochen geordnet sind. Und dann gibt es einen kleineren Raum, in dem die Siegerstücke des jährlichen Glaskunst-Wettbewerbs der Museumsstiftung ausgestellt sind. Und das sollte man sich wirklich nicht entgehen lassen - der Wow-Faktor ist schon erheblich. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch Filme über Glasherstellung und dergleichen.
