Unfortunately we thought they closed at 17.00 hours - arrived at 14.20 and found out they close at 16.00 hours :-( Decided to enter anyway and focus on best stuff. You lad at the first map inside was waiting for us and super helpfull telling us where to focus and go due to the only 1:40 minutes we had We had a lot of fun outside and inside - super interesting also for our 10 and 13 year old. Our daughter hurt herself a little in one the slides and a young staff member simply walked by and tried to look away in order not to have any conflict it seemed. Entering the building we needed some help with a big table game. Several you staff members passed us but unlike the first lad that was super helpfull were these next 3-4 young staff members more focused on chatting internally or having their breaks sitting down cosely in the guest area. We could really have needed some help and explanation to the super nice interactive game where we could have spent one hour I think. Cafeteria looked really nice but we had no time for food or drinks - but looked like they even had a real chef in the kitchen. When we left the box office staff had left but a mid age staff member told us to try send an email for a discount due to the late time of our arrival. We emailed them next days and got a quick nice reply that they would give us special price on one month membership. We did not make it back this time but will be back next year with much more time. Even though pricy - highly recomendable and super nice place with children if you have minimum three hours...... but do not hesitate to ask the staff for help if you have questions as some things need more...
Read moreVery nice and "unexciting" (in a very positive way). There is so much to discover and both our 5 and our 11 year old sons enjoyed it very much. It is a great combination of playground, experimental discovery place and "nature show room". Our boys come with a natural high energy level. This place simulated them to play, interact and experiment without overwhelming them. You can easily spend 3-4h. If the sun is out it can be nice and warm even in autumn because of the thoughtful construction with a circular rampart around the whole site. We will be back for sure. Addition 1: As our boys loved it so much, we ended up buying a monthly ticket although we only were there for a bit more than a week. It was worth it! Addition 2: The food in the restaurant is somewhat special and maybe not to everyone's taste. Maybe bring a picnic if you have...
Read moreGreat combination between fun activities and beatiful exhibitions!
We brought our two-year-old son, and we had a blast: We spent two hours doing various activities (storm simulator, inspecting wildlife from the net over the stream, digging after objects while using a metal detector and many other child friendly physical activities), before we saw the Krible Krable show, which was entertaining, informing and very well directed towards kids between two and twelve years.
Afterwards, we visited the inside exhibitions: My favourite was the one where seasonal growth of trees and roots was explained, where interactional weather effects and amazing visuals created an impressive sorrounding.
We did not manage to see all of the exhibitions while we were there, and would definitely like to return...
