We went there for a special Christmas arrangement with a steam powered train, which made the museum more accessible to us. It is a very interesting place for those who like trains and trams, they have some gorgeous models on exhibit and you can also ride some of the trams on-site. A pity they were removed from Copenhagen but I'm happy they preserved some in this museum. The bus exhibit was very worth exploring too. I wish there had been more options for food and drinks but other than that, I would definitely recommend visiting.

Excellent museum dedicated to Copenhagen's streetcars and tramways! Not only does it showcase the city's rich tram history, but you can also enjoy beautifully preserved trams from the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, and even the iconic ČKD Tatra T3 from former Czechoslovakia. Many of the trams are fully functional, and you can actually take a ride on them, making the experience both nostalgic and interactive. A must-visit for transport enthusiasts and curious visitors alike!

It’s an absolutely charming place to visit with family or your love ones, where the museum not only let you admires the historical train or bus through history but they let you enjoy the ride in it through the forest as well the little charming village surrounding this museum , it’s really worth the visit and for reasonable price - perhaps they could make the cafe above in the forest serves fresh food instead of pre packed sandwich

Even if you a not an tram or bus enthusiast, this museum is worth a visit. It brings you back into the times of the 19th and 20th century, not only with realistic public transport but also all details like shops, kiosks. You can make a ride on the tram to the picnic area and enjoy you own food or buy somthing from the kiosk located in a tram. There are also special events with oldtimer cars visiting the museum, big-band music and more. Please check the web-site...
