This is an important site in Samso and Denmark as a whole I imagine and it is very interesting as a short stop, take a few minutes to look around. You can have a bite on the picnic tables and there are some info placards on the site history. It would be somewhere to stop at on your way somewhere else I feel. You can walk to the east coast easily down a wee path for a stretch of the legs before carrying on to your...

This dry canal has history, but is not that interesting to see. It looks like a long ditch. It is 500 meter long and 11 meters wide and is considered one of the Vikings biggest engineering accomplishments. Research has dated this place to have been dug out at around year 726. It is free to visit, but don’t expect to spend...

Kanhavekanalen.

It's ok. Yes it has history. Yes it's mildly interesting. But it's not a place you're going to spend a great deal of time. I'd say you'd probably be lucky if you managed 15 minutes. There are benches here to sit and have a picnic abs the surrounding area has lots of hikes.

Good piece of Viking history. I was really pleased to see something created in the Viking area. You can see by the curve in the land where the canal was.
