Houstrup Strand — Attraction in Varde Municipality

A wonderful, natural beach. No tractors combing the sand clean. No beach chairs, great dunes covered with lush beach grass, plus the roaring surf of the North Sea and endless space on which the few vacationers effortlessly lose themselves. There is nothing here but nature ... no restaurants, no cafes, no playgrounds, no benches or beer tables ... but an incredible amount of space, lots of sand, the ocean and no cars driving on the beach. What a beautiful place...

The cabin we rented was a bit pricey for what you get. It was also on the dirty side, which is kinda understandable since there was not much provided in terms of cleaning it (a single broom and nothing else). The duvets and pillows could use a wash as well. The camping is otherwise very nice and quite.
