I nice zoo that I felt was made with love for the animals with polite & caring employees!! Many more monkeys than in much larger zoos and I noticed few of them were carrying their babies on their backs!! It's easy to go around without missing anything with places in between for the children to play or to sit down and have something to eat. Kids are able to go for a pony ride or pet some of the animals. You can buy food to feed some of the animals, so as they come closer you can get a better view of them & take close up pictures! Read moreThis is quite a small zoo. Don't expect there to be loads of greenery and huge animal cages, pens or habitats. Do expect beautiful animals that come real close to the fences. So much so that everywhere you look are little signs to beware of your fingers and not stick them through the fence.
The play areas for the kids are great, maybe even the best I've seen in a long time and be prepared for a quiet visit. When we were there (on a monday during the summer) there where maybe 10 cars parked on the lot.

Read moreA smaller zoo, with a great variety of rare exotic cats, birds, smaller monkeys and reptiles amongst others. It's clean, well kept, and with friendly staff. You can buy hot food and kid-friendly gifts near the main entrance. For a small fee, your kids can ride a pony, and you can buy a little bag of animal feed, which can be fed to a larger collection of the animals around the zoo. There's several playgrounds and park benches spread around the park.
