Since many years this is the only place that's available for kids to enjoy in Dammam during any breaks. What I have noticed since several years is that the number of dolphins have drastically reduced and also the old times fun and quality is not available. I feel that the trainers are not encouraged to teach new games and stunts to the dolphin or the sea lion. Every time anyone visits they see the same things over and over. Also the case with the aquarium is not different, it's very small and does not convey any sense to the visitor in terms of learning. The rates taken for all the services are reasonably high when compared to the deliverables. I hope in the coming days the property management will add more lives and fun to the place especially by bringing in novel ideas and international standards kept for such theme parks. One thing I noticed about the parking arrangement is that it's still not done in a proper way even after several years. However the harwork of the security guards and the police dept is excellent as they manage the area without any problems. Even during the time of peak conjuction no one is honking or offensive. It's well kept without accidents. I also have a concern about the foods served by all parties inside or outside, does it meet health safety standards especially hygenenic part when it comes serving for such a huge crowd especially during the festival and seasonal holidays. Lighting arrangements for the property for inside and outside has to be doubled and improved. We find a lot of near miss and thank God for the safety at the...
Read moreI visited in May 2019. It was a daunting experience. The rides are so few and old. There is an entrance fee and tickets have to be taken for every other ride. One ride is free with the ticket. The place is dusty and dilapidated. As soon as we entered one guys ( on stilts ) tried to grab my one year old( who is wary of strangers) even after telling him not to. Then he just grabbed my 5 year old and posed for a photograph that my friend took. He asked all of us to take photographs with him. We took one more. He tried to grab my one year old again even after warning him not to a second time. After the pics he asked for 30 riyals for the pics. If those pics were taken by their photographer and given it was acceptable. But these pics were taken in our own mobile phones by ourselves. It was pure cheating. Otherwise he should've informed beforehand that it was for a fee. We got on a ride which was a terrible experience which I doubt will be approved for human beings to be in. The seating area was so unclean. There is a swimming pool for kids which is 20 sr for 3 hours which might be actually worth. It's 30 sr for the dolphin show and there is only one show at 10 15 which actually starts at 10 30 for half an hour. If you've seen dolphins before there is no point going to dolphin village. Will never visit...
