Everyone knows all the big, popular places to go, but this is one of those hidden gems. Easy to find and get to. Free to enter and walk around at your leisure. I'm told it was built in 1977, though unfortunately, time is not kind, as nobody keeps it up anymore, and it's falling apart. (Which seems to be the case with a lot of places in the country.) It's a shame, because it's a very interesting site to see. (Bring a big handful of coins to give to the local children in the parking lot. They truly need it. And it feels good to...

I thought it might be on a high hill, but it's not very high, just a little rise overlooking the area. It's a pretty vantage point for the valley and the man who seemed to be the caretaker was friendly and welcoming.

The building is not large but it's tall inside (with quite a few birds nesting here and there) and an altar.

It's worth a stop if you're...

If you love shrines, it's a place you can't miss. It's a wonderful place for relaxation and meditation, and you can also capture beautiful drone videos and photos. You'll find people with limited resources there, but with incredibly big hearts. They will be very grateful if you offer them some...
