Minitas Beach — Attraction in La Romana

This beach is stunning! There are some rocks that break the waves, making it a calm swimming and snorkeling experience. The coral reef there is dead, but there are still fish to see. The staff are extremely attentive, and the lounge chairs make the experience a lot more relaxing. The drinks at the bar are delicious, and Angel the bartender is super sweet. It does take some time to pay, sometimes up to 7 minutes. The food trucks there, Brassa and Massa, were pretty lackluster unfortunately. Gorgeous luxury beach area. The only downside is that it is not onsite at the hotel. It is about 2km away which will take about 10 minutes by golf cart or 25 minutes to walk.
