Beautiful place!!! Breath taking!!! To get to the fall you must do a little walk, cross 4 bridges, climb stairs, but it's totally worth it. Have a beautiful landscape, you also are able to see the hydro-energetic system that produces energy for Jarabacoa and when you reach the top there's a deck where you can see the Jimeoa Falls 1. The cost is 100 pesos per person, which is worth the penny, just to see how...

An awesome hike to Salta Jimenoa 1 waterfall. The trail leads to the beach of the falls where you will find a small Sandy Beach. The water is clean and clear. A little cool since it is coming from a deep mountain spring. The trail is somewhat steep and a little slippery. There are benches placed strategically at intervals to allow for a rest, particularly on the way up. It takes about half an hour to descend and a little more to come back up. There is not too much traffic and it's a good shot for a picnic. While there you can check with Tony and do some...

The hike to get there is incredibly difficult and coming back, but when you get to the waterfall, the beauty of that fall will make you forget the struggle you went through to get there. The day I went was rainy, so the waterfall was all by myself and full of water. I saw the waterfall at its full potential. I want to cry. How beautiful is that waterfall? By the way, there are two Salto Jimenoa numbers 1 and 2. Salto number 2 is easier to access, but it was closed when I was in Jarabacoa. The Salto I went...
