Playa Carolina — Attraction in Las Terrenas

This is one of the mos beautiful Beaches in the country. It is not deep at all. I will be posting 360 fotos and videos soon. It has easy access, water is clean. There are sufficient garbage cans so that people don't leave trash around. Also, there are a few businesses where you can purchase food and drinks. It is a very interesting place because of the river that ends in the beach. This lets you enjoy the hot waters of the beach, but also the cold and clean waters of the river. You could literally walk 2 steps and feel the chang of its temperature....

This was a pretty nice beach driving along the coast of the road in Las Teranas. While I was there, the water was calm. The dropoff in the ocean was a long way as I was able to walk deep into the ocean and the water was up to 4 feet or so.

Finding parking was simple as just driving in and parking on the sand.

The beach didn't have many tourists other than myself as it's frequented by locals primarily.

This is a beach I can recommend if you want to get away...

Love the beach and small dining place next to parking area. Water is vary between very low level and nice deep swim. Great place for snorkeling too! There is really cold small stream merging the ocean. Palm trees, nature there is just amazing. Spent few hours today and didn’t wanna return to capital at all.
