Playa Grande — Attraction in María Trinidad Sánchez

This beach has changed since I last came here 99-2000. What a nice surprise. There's legit parking space and proper entrance now. There a small group of approved sales and food spot. They rent sun loungers, they give you a table with chairs with the purchase of a full meal. The food is good had fried fish with rice, salad tostones and fried chicken with french fries. The beach is big and so it will be hard to be crowded unless you went and sat down near groups of ppl. There's tons of room under the sun or shade. They had massage spot and 4 wheeler rentals. Gorgeous Beach! When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the local vendors and parking lot attendant, very friendly and not over bearing. Lots of parking and short walk to the beach.

The beach itself is gorgeous! Crystal clear blue water with nice rolling waves. Sand beaches and entry made it easy for the family. Lots of nice areas to snorkel and see fish, small reefs, and even found some beautiful small shells under water. Great visibility and the waves are calm enough to enjoy.

Not that easy to get to but besides that beautiful beach!!! The sand is great and feel so good you want to eat it or get buried in it and have a long nap. There is a lot of green with palms and other tree to lay down and relax. The food to get there is really good and the prices surprisingly good 😊 get the fried fish with tostones and enjoy the place. Please don't go with small kids and definitely is no go if you don't know how to swim, the waves get pretty wild sometimes and some parts the current will drag you in fast.
