Playa La Ensenada — Attraction in Puerto Plata

Beautiful beach, take the cayo arena excursion which is 6500 for a private trip or 700$ per person. The water banana and sombrero were 200 pesos per person. The food with the venders was ok. This would be the only change I would make of my trip there. We ordered the shrimp mofongos which were horrible all around nothing good about it we also ordered chicken strips with fries for the kids and none of them eat it as it was tasteless food. Es una playa con: buena vista, Excelente 👌 ambiente, perfecta para los niños, la comida muy buena, una vista maravillosa, tienen paquetes para hacer turismo por la zona, también tiene juegos para adultos y niños a buen precio.

Un punto importante es que por la carretera que queda más cercana es de tierra y hay un buen pedazo que está en mal estado, para jeepetas y vehículos altos esta bien 👍 😉. Pero creo que si quieres disfrutar no hay problema. Hay otras formas de llegar ahí también.

Si quieres puedes también llevar tu comida y bebidas por eso no hay problema 😉, aunque la comida que venden ahí es rica. Y en donde yo comí todo es muy higiénico y con excelente calidad. Aparte que todo lo hicieron en fogón.

También algunas de los restaurantes te ofrecen duchas y baños 🚻 aveces hay que pagar por ducha son como $25 pesos R.D. que no es ni un $1 dolar.

Great beach with shallow waters! This is a short twenty minute walk from Punta Rucia beach. The walk is amazing if you like beach walks. There are lots of little restaurants with good local Dominican food and reasonable drink prices.
