Playa Rincón – A Hidden Paradise Worth Visiting!!!!
Playa Rincón is hands down one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited. From the moment we started the drive there, we knew it was going to be special — the road itself is stunning, surrounded by lush nature and scenic views that set the mood for a perfect beach day in the amazing tropical weather.
The beach is absolutely breathtaking. The water is crystal clear, calm, and inviting — perfect for swimming or just floating and relaxing. The landscape feels untouched, giving it that hidden paradise vibe. We were lucky to visit on a sunny day and spent hours just soaking it all in.
Another thing that made the visit so memorable was the people. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of the place. We truly had a great time, filled with laughter, sun, and pure peace.
The only suggestion I would make is to improve the cleanliness of the beach. With just a bit more attention to keeping it tidy, Playa Rincón could easily be one of the top beaches in the world.
Still, it’s an unforgettable spot — a must-visit for anyone traveling to the Dominican...
Read moreBeautiful virgin beach located in Las Galeras, Samana.
This is a virgin beach surrounded by mountains, no hotels, no resorts, just locals selling food and art. The only way to get there is by a tour or if you know the area, you can drive, we went there using an ATV during our tour.
It's a beautiful beach with barely any waves, turquoise waters and never ending sand, when I visited there was no seaweed thank God, so we had a great time, there's plenty of chairs to relax or just lay on the sand and enjoy this beautiful place.
One of those beaches of the beaten path, it's safe, food was really good, you know Fried Fish, Grilled Chicken with white rice, salad, soda or bottled water. There's also snorkeling available for a fee or on your own but I didn't have time to do it, you can fly your drone here and the views are amazing.
Overall this is a most beach to visit if you're in Samana, from Las Terrenas is 1/12 hours and once you get there you'll say it was all worth it, the beach, surroundings and people will make your trip...
Read moreGreat and very pristine beach. I think it's a national park. Very little commercial development around the area. There's, as a result, very little around, aside from a few vendors. Bring whatever you think you'll need with you, ice, drinks, food, and spend a wonderfully tranquil day. Coming from Samana, the last really easy place to get supplies is a Texaco about 20 minutes away. After that, theres basically nothing.
There are lounge chairs available for rent, but no umbrellas. Concessions are scarce and slightly overpriced. Contrary to to other comments I've seen, there are publicly available bathrooms, but only a couple on either end of the parts accessible by car. The river side is more popular (mostly locals) because the river water is very cool. The opposite end is much nicer in my opinion. The water, mid summer, felt...
