What an adventure! Such a great way to enjoy the beautiful nature of Samana. For the adventurous ones, young and old, but in good shape and not for the fainthearted. First you need to hike up from the base for about fifteen minutes. We went in our shorts and flip flops, some better attire is advisable. You have most of the harness loosely on then. All ages are welcome, we took our four year old and ended up carrying then on the shoulder, extra exercise there for you. Once up at 172 meters, one of my sons and I almost chickened out. Of to return to base we would need to hike back down on the flipflops. We opted for the zipline down. With a lot od reassurance from the wonderful guys there, Ariel and Kelvin. They were soooo patient and kind. And honest! They reassured my son and I once we go on the first line we will love it/ get over our fear. And we did. Both my 4 year old boys loved it, i got over.my initial fear. And it got better and better. The whole experience is about an hour, well worth the money! By the way we went with our rented car and drove over there. The service and experience was just wonderful. I am so happy we went through with this, an experience not to forget. When you finish you walk through en eco hotel area, makes you want to stay and relax there! I highly recommend this safe (triple line with brake system and double harness), well organized (multiple duolingual staff, water refreshment and even babysitting, yes one son stayed behind!). Thanks for a memorable afternoon! Ps they take cash only,...

Terrible Experience, Avoid at all costs!!! I contacted zipline samana via their Whatsapp Contact Number and asked them if they were open last tuesday to celebrate my wifes birthday. A guy called me back and confirmed, that they are open. So we rented a car for 70 USD and drove there for 2 hours. 10 minutes before arrival he sends me a sms saying, sorry we are closed(without any reasons). As a compensation, he offered a welcome drink at Dominican Tree House Hotel. On Arrival we felt like being in a haunted place with rats roaming around. So we left immediately.

Theen he offered us 30% Discount on the next day if we would carry some Costumes. When we asked him some more questions, he just cut off the communication and switched off his phone.Thankfully we didnt go there the next day risking money and time.

Hence avoid this place and save yourself money time, and nerves. You definitely dont need such an unprofessional...

We had a great time zip lining with the family—it was fun, safe, and full of excitement. One of the best parts is that at the bottom of the zip line, there’s a beautiful natural swimming area called Balneario Lulu. After the adventure, you get a good amount of time to jump into the refreshing water and relax. It’s a perfect mix of adrenaline and nature, making it a memorable experience for everyone.

My wife and I first visited Samaná Zipline in El Valle when our kids were still in diapers, and we recently returned so that they could experience it too. We were happy to find that it was just as fun this time around as it was back then. The zipline course consists of 12 lines and is one of the longest and highest in the Caribbean, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and forests. The hike up to the course is steep and takes around 15-20 minutes, but the view from the top is well worth the effort. Our guides were friendly and playful, which added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. At the end of the course, there's a tree top bar where you can relax and take in the beautiful surroundings before ending the experience. This was a new addition since our last visit, and it was a nice touch.

Me and my wife had a wonderful time zip lining here. It was actually our first experience so we had a lot of doubts but just arriving there the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were guided through the whole journey and had a lot of fun with our guides Katelin and Francis, who also helped us record some memories of the adventure. The equipment and facilities are very well maintained, you feel very safe with and the guides know their security protocol. Definitely worth the money, the experience it’s amazing and at the end of the zip lines you arrive at a nice secluded place: The Dominican Tree House Village which is a hotel with cabins up on the trees, we will returning to stay at the hotel for sure.

AMAZING! My wife and I were on our honeymoon, and wanted to kick it off doing some zipline. This was an amazing experience. The staff was knowledgeable about safety and made us feel safe. All the equipment and the facility was in excellent conditions. Kelvin and the rest of the staff welcomed us and helped us throughout the day. They took pictures for us and gave us tips for other stuff to do around the area. I would recommend to anyone that is going to visit Samana to definitely do this! You will have a great time!
