One of the most amazing and well cared National Park of the Dominican Republic, features a variety of attractions for nature and hikers lovers, including the Pico Duarte, the highest summit of the Caribbean standing at 3,087 meters above sea level. Open all year, it has different trails to reach the summit. The most known one is the one that start at La Ciénaga de Manabao Community, up past Jarabacoa in La Vega province. The National Park also has a trail that access to the José Del Carmen Ramírez National Park, where the beautiful Valle Del Tetero is located.

El camino hacia El Pico Duarte y el valle El Tetero es mas que bellisimo es un lugar que vas la primera vez y deseas regresar todos los años. tengo una sugerencia para los que manejan tan bellisima reserva. existen varios puntos donde se descansan con los animales (la cotorra, la laguna, agua fria) para el que hace la ruta en burro o mulo , se deberia en esos puntos crear al menos dos letrinas para que la gente las use en vez de hacer uso de cualquier lugar en el camino y dejar a veces el papel higienico a vista en el camino, a pesar de la educacion que da el parque sobre el tema basura. Asi solo dejan sus pasos como indica su slogan. Ojala sea tomada en cuenta la sugerencia seria un exito!!

En lo profundo de la Cordillera Central se encuentra el Parque Nacional J. Armando Bermúdez. Naturaleza exuberante, Cañadas de agua helada cascadas impresionantes y una vista de la puesta del sol que deja a cualquiera extasiado. Una foto se queda corta para está maravillosa experiencia.
