Between the surf and the main road that runs parallel to the water is less slice of paradise and more slice of the ultimate third world outdoor experience. The area is covered in broken bottles (no flip flops, sandals or watershoes recommended!) Piles of tree trunks and large branches have washed ashore and created a sort of barricade.
