Well, I had a really bad experience last week. I was staying in a hotel near by and made tee time reservation to 7AM. They said at the club that it is their earliest tee time and was available. I arrived about 20 mins earlier and I saw people working on the course. When I approched the pro shop notice that it was close. I asked a worker who claimed that they will be here at 7AM. Time went bye. At about 7:25 finally someone showed up and started opening the pro shop. I proceeded inside and asked the gentleman about the fact that I had an early tee time and he said that he just made it in. Golf course is set amongst tropical forest, around lakes, with bridges to cross and flowering gardens all around! Birds and butterflies abound. This place is surprisingly not crowded at all. The club house is a piece of art, but sadly, weathered. It has a lighthouse type tower that overlooks miles & miles clear to the sea. But club house/ restaurant/ pool area is like a ghost town. Empty. They need to encourage visitors. We stayed at Guavaberry Casa del Lago and had to ask if there was a Club house or restaurant!? This really is a beautiful quiet...
