Durga tekdi has already become my regular place for morning walks. This place is called Durga tekdi because Durga maata temple is located here. This place is full of tress and a lake placed along side. Place is really maintained very well and is very clean.Washroom are also really maintained nicley. Provision for drinking water and dust bins are made from place to place. Atmosphere here is very fresh and healthy. Food and water is also placed for the birds and In animals around in this place . People come here for walk and are allowed free entry from 5AM to 11AM. There is entry fee of rupees 10/- for adults and rupees 5/- for age group between 3 to 12 years from 11AM to 5:30PM. You will find people of every age group coming to this place .Old women's have there party's here. You can bring food here but the only restriction is that there should be no plastic bag used nor plastic bottles are allowed from the gate. Camera are also not allowed you can use your phone to take pictures. There are playground located from place to place for kids. They also have very good sitting arrangements from place to place . Shades are make at different locations for yoga and meditation. This place is also very nice for photoshoot. There are different kinds of trees and birds here and Will also be able see some monkeys around along with ducks in the lake. Tree plantation is regularly carried out at this place and water circulation for tress is also done very nicely. The only thing which I didn't like was couple's coming to this place and doing things which are not supposed to be done at public places. This gives very bad impression to people about this place and could well affect small kids too. Some action needs to be taken against such couple's. But this is definitely the best place which can show the beauty of nature Will definitely recommend every one to visit this place If you find my review helpful plz press like button 😊🙏

It's a hilltop park maintained by PCMC. Entry is free between 6 AM - 11 AM and after 5:30 PM until the park closes. Between 11 AM - 5:30, the charges are ₹10 for adults and ₹5 for kids. Parking charges however, are steep, at ₹20 for 2W and ₹40 for cars. The parking facility is shared with Appu Ghar. The park is huge and offers sweeping views of the entire city. Most of the track is paved with asphalt - which is something I found unique! A small section has paver blocks, and another small one is paved with mud. There are multiple routes that you can take. The typical trail is about 2 kms with significant altitude variation. Good walking/jogging shoes are highly recommended. There are several small green areas with park benches, where you can relax. Even though this is located in a deep corner of the city, there's uninterrupted 4G coverage throughout the park area. Outside the park, there are plenty of small stalls selling fruits, breakfast items, healthy juices and organic foods/ingredients, until 10 AM. There's a huge parking lot for cars, but even that gets full on weekends. If possible, get here on a 2W. There's even a small cycle stand outside the park, with places where you can anchor the cycle to fixed structures. It's places like these that make PCMC such a liveable & loveable ❤️ city! The evening crowd mostly comprises couples and picnickers. You can visit in the morning if that's the sort of crowd you want to avoid.

Like the name suggest this is a Tekdi. Refere Tekdi in marathi as a small hill. It got it neme from Durga mata temple inside the premise. So Durga Tekdi. It opens at 5am in morning for public and is free entry in morning. Closes at 8am. There is a huge parking space available right outside the entrance. It's crowded you can say in weekends. You can walk, exercise or play in the garden area. Waking path is good in structure and it's really uphill. If you are not used for hilly walks then this place is not for you. Entire round can take upto an hour depending on speed but area is photogenic. You would love to take your time and walk appreciating the lush green gardens. Maintenance is of high standards. There is a big lake inside the Tekdi. This lake has many inhabitant ducks and sound of birds chirping is music to ears. At top you even see a water tank and a point called Ray band point. It has many gardens along the place and can by many people at the same time. However Less of social distancing at this time of Adminstration can be strict for mask atleast. People are seen without mask here. Just outside the entrance you would find all types of vegetables being sold. Also different types of healthy juice vendors are seen in the vicinity. This place is next to Appu ghar just for reference in case you need to plan your day accordingly.

Durga Tekadi is indeed a picturesque location, offering a serene escape with its small hill and Durga Mata Mandir at top. The lush surroundings, adorned with diverse trees, create a tranquil ambiance. Maintained by PCMC Pune, the hill features a well-equipped playground for children, boasting various play areas to cater to their interests. Additionally, the open gym provides fitness enthusiasts with a great space to engage in physical activities such as weightlifting, cycling, and more. Facilities like toilets and drinking water further enhance the overall visitor experience, ensuring comfort for all. The inclusivity of amenities, such as the open gym, makes it an enjoyable destination for people of all ages. The nominal entry fee of Rs 10 per person makes it an affordable option for a day out with friends. However, it's essential to note that there might be a typographical error in the mention of "tresses," which seems likely to be "trees." Additionally, "Entry fee is 10Rs for one person" and "4wheeler parking chargee are 40Rs" could be clarified as "The entry fee is Rs 10 per person, and the parking charge for a four-wheeler is Rs 40." Overall, Durga Tekadi stands out as a beautiful and well-maintained place for a memorable time with friends and family.

If you live in Pcmc area, you will know what Durga Tekdi is. For senior citizens it's a morning walk, jog place. A good amount of distance and elevations are available inside the park. For younger couples, it's a heaven. I hate to say this but durg Tekdi is a couple's destination since long back. There are total 3-4 levels. First level consists of a large lake, you can spot many ducks and other marine birds. Small patches of grass lands coupled in the form of park. From here a path to right direction takes you to the Durga devi temple. And one to left takes you to the second level. This level has a small park. Best place for kids to enjoy. A small open hall is developed here where people usually stop for meditation and other recreational activities like Yoga. Next level consists of circular walking track. From here the top level is accessible. From top most point you can see whole of nigdi. A peaceful place to sitback and relax. Ample parking space is available at the base. Die to Covid, this place is closed but open only during morning time, around 5am to 9am. And no ticket is needed during this duration.

It's an amazing place for picnic with your family and friends. One can spend a day there walking around and resting under huge trees. You can bring outside food or homemade food there, but only one condition. Don't bring plastic bags and plastic bottles inside. It will help to keep the place clean for us. There is ample space for parking, which is paid. Also, there is Durga Mata Temple inside. It is a quiet place to relax and refresh your mind. You can do some sports activities there if you bring your own stuff. For children, there is a play area. One can track the hill from base to top. Various kinds of birds can be seen so nature lovers can do photography over their. After completing the hill visit, one can go to Appu Ghar located at the base opposite to parking. Appu Ghar is a place where paid rides are available for all ages of people. Overall, it is a perfect 1 day trip in Pimpri Chinchwad.
