Highly recommended short hike (10 minutes from the road sign) to a fascinating and historic cave. Be warned, there is a $10/person charge that ISN'T posted, so if you go on the hike, someone may approach you for money. We later validated this charge at the Walu guesthouse. The little hike through the jungle has a few steps, but about as challenging as a staircase. The path was fairly obvious. The cave itself is deeper and grander than I expected. To explore, bring a bright flashlight. Yes, there are bats (harmless), but they are high above.
There were many cave drawings at the entrance of the cave. The drawings are high up, but visible in natural light. A bright flashlight is recommended to see in better detail. You'll see suns, stick figures, and geometric shapes. The sign at the road describes what some of them mean.
