Our groups favorite part of the 10 day trip to Ecuador. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived with full mist, but they assured us the animals where really close. It was an amazing interactive experience. Definitely cannot pick one favorite animal. It was all amazing. The mini goat would follow different groups around and then go back to his pen. The cow and young horse are roaming around freely and also a sheep amongst other animals. You get food at the entrance and oh what a treat it was. The playground was lots of fun and we are all adults lol. Here we enjoyed ice cream and purchased a few souvenirs fairly priced. This is not a zoo, it's a wonderful sanctuary for animals and people to fall in love with each other.

Si estás buscando la experiencia más deprimente y lamentable de tu vida, ¡felicitaciones, la has encontrado! Animal Park en Baños es un lugar que te hará cuestionar todas las decisiones que te llevaron hasta allí. El verdadero horror comienza una vez que entras. Los 'senderos' son básicamente caminos de tierra resbaladiza y embarrada, y si tienes suerte, no te romperás un tobillo. El 'parque' se parece más a un patio trasero abandonado con jaulas oxidadas que a un santuario de animales. Y los animales... Dios mío, los animales. Lejos de verse felices y bien cuidados, parecen estar en un estado de profunda miseria. Los tigrillos y leones caminan de un lado a otro en espacios ridículamente pequeños, con miradas perdidas. Los loros se ven estresados, arrancándose el plumas. La suciedad y el hedor son insoportables. No hay enriquecimiento ambiental, no hay signos de cuidado real, solo el reflejo de una negligencia total. La peor parte que pase fue cuando entre al falso espectáculo de caballos por qué aparte de que pague entrada una Guardia me levanto la voz diciendo que me largará del lugar, alegue que estaba pagando entrada y me dijo igual que me largará del lugar por qué no tenía espacio, si no tienen espacio entonces simplemente no dejen estar más gente. Pésimo trato. Es una exhibición cruel de explotación, disfrazada de 'diversión'. El personal no parece saber nada de comportamiento animal y solo está ahí de adorno Si te importa la vida silvestre, si te indigna ver a criaturas majestuosas reducidas a atracciones de circo tristes, por favor, ahórrate el dinero y el disgusto. En lugar de visitar este lugar, mejor quédate en casa mirando un documental de animales; al menos ahí los verás en un entorno donde se les respeta. Ir a Animal Park no es una aventura, es una pesadilla de la que te sentirás culpable por haber sido testigo. NO LO RECOMIENDO, SI EN ESTE PAIS LA LEY FUNCIONARIA LOS DEMANDARIA POR INTIMIDACION. PESIMO PERO PESIMO LUGAR NO LO RECOMIENDO NI NUNCA VOLVERIA...
