This is Cuenca's second-best park, having just taken the title from Parque de la Luz way in the opposite corner of the city. This means Tarqui Guzho is second only to the unmatched, undefeated champion that is Parque El Paraíso quite a ways east of here (you could follow Rio Tarqui all the way there if you didn't suck).

This park is huge, there are a variety of trails and nooks and crannies and pretty flowers, the river is wise to all things, there are parrillas for cookouts and baños for crapouts—there's even a dang old zip-line! (Note: There is also a separate area with fun, colorful playthings for children, and park security officials do ask that you keep the little ones segregated in their designated play area at all times so that the rest of us do not have to be burdened with the calamitous consequences of your poor life...

Megaparque Tarqui-Guzho - Review (ESPAÑOL/ENGLISH)

ESPAÑOL: Este Megaparque Tarqui-Guzho es relativamente nuevo ¡ME HA ENCANTADO! Muy espacioso y tranquilo. Si quieres hacer deporte has venido al lugar ideal.

ENGLISH: This Park is relatively new, I LOVED IT! Very spacious and quiet. If you want to do sports you have come to the ideal place. If you want to record videos about reflections or some other topic, consider doing it here. The sound of the water currents can calm all those city noises that we get used to, but then cause us stress. A great place to have a picnic or share with the family. The children will have fun in the various games that are around. I hope that soon they will inaugurate the huts (covered barbecue area) of family grills that are already installed. In short, I recommend Megaparque Tarqui-Guzho for a relaxing time.

Suggestion: The children's games should have been covered. With how often it rains in the city, sometimes the children can't enjoy them because...

Gorgeous and well maintained park for EVERYONE. From very young to very old, this park is accesible for everyone. There are designated areas for all ages, connected by very easily walkable pathways. The exercise area is very clean, covered BBQ areas (currently not accesible due to Covid), a zip line, nice covered benches and trash cans everywhere. All this along the river. Oh, and SUPER...
