This is an excellent place to spend the day. Swimming in the river and exploring behind a spectacular waterfall. The people that run this area are extremely friendly and provide excellent service. We ate lunch here and had a delicious "Tonga". They also have areas to camp as well. If you want to experience something off the beaten path this would be it. I was the only tourist there. This is more of a regional secret than a tourist place. I am planning on going back when I return to Ecuador...

Read moreEs un lugar lleno de encanto natural , tiene dos Vías de acceso yo opté por la.Vía a Quevedo,.ingresando por el sector Los Ángeles hasta el recinto «La 14» de allí unos 10 min más aproximadamente y se llega a la cascada del Salto del Armadillo, hay parqueadero (1usd) y el ingreso al mirador y Cascada (1usd por persona) lo más emocionante es llegar por las piedras resbalosas y puntiagudas hasta debajo de la cascada... una experiencia inolvidable, llevar cámara acuática, porque debajo de la cascada se van a mojar una vestimenta extra, zapatos cómodos que no resbalen porque el camino es muy muy resbaladizo y peligroso. Y a vivir de una experiencia lle a de adrenalina ... cabe.mencionar que junto a la cascada ofrecen el servicio de Canopy... comida y bebida...
