This is beautiful place, well maintained with a lot of trails that range from lowland dry forest to higher elevation wetter forest. We stayed 2 nights in a comfortable cabaña that has great birding straight from the balcony and howler monkeys that come to feed in the nearby trees. The cabaña has electricity but no wifi, although you can access wifi during the day at the visitor center about a ten minute walk away. The meals were prepared by Nancy, who cooked us delicious local food. The guardabosque José was kind and really informative about the local region and the flora and fauna. The reserve is easy to access by bus, as the entrance is right on the main road. Se pueden avistar un sinnúmero de aves, reptiles, anfibios y varios grupos de monos aulladores en medio del bosque, además de poder disfrutar de la paz que provee la desconexión absoluta del mundo exterior (no hay electricidad en el campamento ni señal telefónica).
