Very good snorkeling here suitable for less confident swimmers. Sharks, turtles, rays etc. Not as spectacular as Kickers Rock in San Cristobal but much less intimidating.

IMO the standard groups of 12 on boat tours are a bit large for snorkeling trips- you tend to end up getting in each other’s way and there is always someone who just won’t wait. But that is the standard group size for most trips.

The above ground views are interesting and pretty, but not worth the journey if you’re not a swimmer. Bring shoes or sturdy sandals with proper straps. Volcanic rocks are sharp and you don’t want to be climbing over them in flip flops.

The journey to the tunnels involves a trip on a very small boat in a big sea. This is not the Mediterranean- it can get rough. If you are really not a fan of small bouncy speed boats, this might not be for you. Also would be cautious if you have back or other issues that might be aggravated by...

Of course how this area is formed is amazing, and there's loads of wildlife, but if you are on a boat snorkelling tour which most people will be, this area is NOT being protected which is very surprising for the Galapagos when there's such high fees to protect them. 4-5 tours come at once, 10-12 people, where the guides will chase down the turtles, sharks etc for photos and not instruct people how to snorkel properly. You spend the whole time crashing into guests that look like they've never been in water before, there's barely any clearance room so you're hitting corals on the bottom, and can't leave the group so it's very congested. I'm very sad to see such a famous area in the Galapagos being damaged every day with these tours, and the poor wildlife...

A completely magical place if you are a snorkel enthusiast or even if you are trying for the first time as it was my case!

You will have the opportunity to see and interact with sharks, turtles, manta rays, golden rays, plenty of different tropical fish and even seahorses!

One of the most beautiful places on earth. The wild life is spectacular and the snorkeling views of turtles and fish are breathtaking. The only drawback is the only access to this national park is by boat over the fifteen foot waves is very dangerous. The boat needs to be a small craft to make it to the beach for snorkeling but big enough to make it over the waves, very dangerous. There needs to be a road to this national treasure. Please build a safe way to enjoy this place.

Great site for seeing birds and marine life. We booked the tour with Pahoehoe and the experience was great, started at 7:30 am, took a 45 min boat ride to the site, then we had a a tour to the tunnels with a guide, a little hike and then another shorter boat ride with stop for snorkeling. We saw marine turtles, fishes, tintorera sharks and sea horses. Amazing experience. Note, we came in september so we were a very small group, and that made it easier to snorkel.
