Very good snorkeling here suitable for less confident swimmers. Sharks, turtles, rays etc. Not as spectacular as Kickers Rock in San Cristobal but much less intimidating.
IMO the standard groups of 12 on boat tours are a bit large for snorkeling trips- you tend to end up getting in each other’s way and there is always someone who just won’t wait. But that is the standard group size for most trips.
The above ground views are interesting and pretty, but not worth the journey if you’re not a swimmer. Bring shoes or sturdy sandals with proper straps. Volcanic rocks are sharp and you don’t want to be climbing over them in flip flops.
The journey to the tunnels involves a trip on a very small boat in a big sea. This is not the Mediterranean- it can get rough. If you are really not a fan of small bouncy speed boats, this might not be for you. Also would be cautious if you have back or other issues that might be aggravated by...

You spend the whole time crashing into guests that look like they've never been in water before, there's barely any clearance room so you're hitting corals on the bottom, and can't leave the group so it's very congested. I'm very sad to see such a famous area in the Galapagos being damaged every day with these tours, and the poor wildlife...

One of the most interesting places to go in Isabela. You will need to go by boat, prices for a day trip range between 100 - 120 USD. Beware of the boat trip if the sea is not quiet as it can be a...
