Stayed at one of the Tipis overnight. The tipi itself was lovely; the bed was comfortable, there was a warm space heater, and complementary water. And the bathroom had a lovey HOT shower!
The packet I was given when reserving the tipi said breakfast was at 8:30, but when we got there the staff said it would actually be at 9. Got to the restaurant at 9 and nobody was even there yet. Staff didn’t open the doors for breakfast until 9:20… also, dinner closed at 6pm! We had to go down the road to get dinner.

And the finish of floors, furniture, walls. The place needs the hand of an architect. It hurts me a bit to see so much good wood used in a sloppy manner to build decks, cabins, bathrooms and more. That was the best. I don’t think I will return here. It was expensive and I feel...
Read moreI love this place! Great spot, not too far away from Cuenca! Excellent food, reasonably priced. The fireplace was warm and welcoming, as was the wonderfully attentive staff. We were greeted with a hot shot of canelazo. Delicious! Enormous portion of trucha alli, a favorite...
