Do not follow google maps. Its totally wrong. Take the unnamed road 11km from Zumbahua. Follow the signs. Go past Hostería Juyende.  Shalala is 7.3km from the paved road   The road is packed dirt, but it is totally passable in a small low clearance car.  When you arrive, the place is almost abandoned. We were the only people there.  Entry fee is $2/person. They will find you and request payment. Make sure you get a paper entry ticket. Don't just pay a random guy with no ticket. The view is worth the...

Cost 2 dollar per person 1 dollar per child The road is in good condition, yet for a low car is hard cause there is a lot of terrain with holes, and dirt, some rocks. So a 9 km from the highway became a 20 minutes drive.

The installations have no water, so it was awful, yet the wooden structure is amazing, the view is unique, and it is a pity cause for the price there is not much to do that go and take some pictures and...

Beautiful view, breathtaking. Entrance fee is $2 per person and the center is owned by the Shalala community, so by visiting you can directly support indigenous communities. You can eat local and buy ponchos or guinea pig and llama stuffies. You can take pictures with real and friendly llamas for 50cts or $1. Only downside it's that it is not...
