Deir El-Shelwit Temple — Attraction in Al Aqaltah Village

Nice small temple with fairly good condition of wall bas-reliefs. You must buy ticket in the central ticket office of Antiquities administration. Note that if you do not know the way and use google map, it shows short way of about 5 km from ticket office to temple, but it is road with no asphalt and through desert or rural village. It is better to go around with asphalt, distance about 10 km, only last km maybe not good...

✍️ معبد إيزيس الروماني دير الشلويت(الجزء الاول)

‎ يقع على الضفة الغربية لنهر النيل في الأقصر ، على بعد حوالي 4 كم جنوب مدينة هابو

‎تم بناء المعبد في القرن الأول الميلادي ، وهو مزيج رائع من الثقافات المصرية القديمة والرومانية.

معبد صغير متواضع وغير المكتمل ، يحتوي على أربعة مصليات ، وغرفة مركزية ، وغرفة انتظار ، وسلم قصير يؤدي إلى شرفة على السطح. ‎تم تزيين الجزء الداخلي والواجهة للغرفة المركزية بنقوش جدارية ملونة منحوتة تصور الأباطرة الرومان وهم يقدمون هدايا للرموز المصرية القديمة بالإضافة إلى خراطيش تحتوي على أسماء عدد من الأباطرة الرومان.

It is located on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor, about 4 km south of Medinet Habu

The temple was built in the first century AD, and is a wonderful mixture of ancient Egyptian and Roman cultures

A modest and unfinished small temple, with four chapels , Central room, waiting room, and short staircase leading to a rooftop balcony. The interior and facade of the central room are decorated with carved colorful murals depicting Roman emperors As They offer gifts to ancient Egyptian symbols as well as cartridges containing the names of a number of Roman emperors.

Small temple of ISIS, quite out of the way down a very rocky road. We had our hotel taxi take us there on a tour of some of the smaller sites on west bank. Some very nice wall carvings. Not too well preserved but still maybe worth the time if you are in Luxor for a while. Cant buy ticket there need to buy in main ticket booth with other sites...
