Save THESE sites to your Egypt list instead 👇 Yes - the Pyramids are a must see, but, they’re my least favorite ancient site in Egypt. For more impressive & authentic history, visit these: 🤍 Pyramid of Djoser - aka Step Pyramid 🖤 Saqqara - historical site next to Step Pyramid 👑 Temple of Hatshepsut - built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of only a few women pharaohs ❤️ Luxor Temple - the missing obelisk from the entrance is the one in Paris 🤍 Philae Temple - stunning temple on an island in the Nile 🖤 Abu Simbel - was moved in stone sections to be saved from flooding from a dam! Nothing compares ❤️ Karnak Temple - my fave!! 2nd largest religious site in world (1st is Angkor Wat) 👑 Temple of Nefertari - at Abu Simbel, dedicated to Rameses II’s favorite wife 🤍 Medinet Habu Temple - some of the best preserved colors I saw outdoors! 🪲 Valley of the Kings - 3,000+ year old tombs of pharaohs with paintings that look like they were completed yesterday Is Egypt on your list? #egypt #abusimbel #ancientegypt #egypttourism #egypttravel #egypttrip #egyptianhistory #luxortemple #karnaktemple #greatpyramids

Save these Egypt details to your list! 👇 I’d recommend 10-14 days to explore Egypt. If you’re in a rush I’d skip the Red Sea because while it’s STUNNING, there’s lots of beautiful beaches around the world but no one has history like Egypt! 🕌 3 days Cairo 🛌 Holy Sheet Hostel (~$22/night for 2 people) 🚶♀️ Must see sites: Muhammad Ali Mosque, Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, Egyptian Museum 🧆 Must eat at: Abou Tarek, Oldish 📌 1 day Giza (or day trip from Cairo) 🛌 We did a day trip 🚶♀️ Must see sites: Great Pyramids, Saqqara, Dahshur 🌾 2 days Aswan 🛌 Bob Marley Hostel (~$20/night for 2) 🚶♀️ Must see sites: day trip to Abu Simbel, Nile River boat trip, Philea Temple 🎈 3 days Luxor 🛌 Luxor Guesthouse (~$20/night for 2) 🚶♀️ Must see sites: Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, sunrise hot-air balloon, Valley of the Kings, Hapsheut 🐠 3 days Red Sea 🛌 Fort Arabesque Resort (~$130/night for 2 all inclusive) Which country should I do next?? #egypt #egypttravel #budgettravel #traveltips #egypt🇪🇬 #cairo #luxor #aswan #pyramids #egypttrip

#egipto #visitegypt #tierradefaraones #reelsoftheday #reelsviral #abusimbel #traveladdict #travelcouple #bestplacestogo #egypt #egyptshots #reelsvideo #iamtb #viral #reelslovers #luxor #karnaktemple #pisandocontinentes

WHERE TO STAY IN EGYPT 🇪🇬👇🏻 I seriously stayed in some bucket list worthy places in Egypt. They all have amazing views of either the pyramids, temples, river nile or the sea. Plus three of them even had private jacuzzis 😱 I love seeking out unique bucket list stays & here are my recommendations: GIZA - XURU STAYS - this iconic air bnb has the most incredible view of the pyramids & a jacuzzi bath ✨ LUXOR - HILTON - we luckily got to stay in this incredible 5* hotel for free as we had enough points on our credit cards (post on this coming) but I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. I normally shy away from chain hotels but this hotel is absolute luxury & worth the money ✨ ASWAN - BENBEN- you will feel like you have stepped into Santorini at this boutique hotel, with rooms looking directly onto Philae Temple with their own private Jacuzzi, this is place is absolute paradise ✨ SIWA - ALI KHALED MOUNTAIN CAMP - you won’t find 5 star hotels in Siwa but what you will find is raw & welcoming local stays. This mountain camp was beautiful, with hot springs, fire pits & Bedouin parties held in the evening ✨ HURGHADA - MERAKI - I have done a post on this place specifically but we loved our stay here. It is super modern, has a beautiful private beach & is amazing value for money ✨ CAIRO - XURU STAYS - another one of Xuru’s air bnbs, this location is perfect for exploring Cairo as it is close to the downtown restaurants & museums. It also has a TV with Netflix & a jacuzzi on the balcony, perfect for relaxing after a busy day in Cairo ✨ I can’t wait to share with you all the unique places we are staying in Finland next week 👀 Which one would you like to stay in most?😍👇🏻 #hotels #bucketliststay #bestairbnb #boutiquehotel #boutiquehotelsoftheworld #besthotels #cairo #thisiscairo #giza #pyramidview #siwaoasis #egypt #visitegypt🇪🇬 #hurghada #hurghada_hotels #merakiresort #luxor #hiltonluxor #benben #aswan #aswanegypt #philaetemple #nileview #travelegypt #thisisegypt #downtowncairo
