The house is ok. It's nice to have a glimpse at the past and imagine what it was like to be living here (as a European) in the early 1900. There a re a few household items and appliances which are cool too. I was surprised by the fact that there is people living at this house or at least using the beds (😬). As usual there will be people offering information, a drink or some advice. It's not for free. They will ask for a tip shortly after. Even in those places where entrance is forbidden or pictures are not allowed they will let you do anything for a tip. On the back of the house you will find Tutankhamun's burial site. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. ITS FAKE. Even though this museum was recommended by Lonely Planet I believe there are better options available. Don't feel bad if...

There is a number of reasons to visit this place. So don't miss it. First of all there is a very pleasant garden where you can have a lunch. I say first of all because once you leave hot Valley of the Kings you will really enjoy this Grass and shade. Secondly the Museum itself is quite interesting. It gives you the idea how the explorers worked. Third of all the copy of Tutanchamon tomb. I know that at the begining it seems weired to enter a copy. But after all why not if it looks just like the original ? And finally Its a great place to get out of the crowds. So...

The museum itself is great! Highly recommend. The restaurant has so much potential - it looked famtastic from the outside, and the menu was interesting too. But almost every item we wanted to order was unavailable - and when we ordered, we got the wrong things. The team was eager to fix their mistakes, however the limited English knowledge created another barrier. They mentioned they just opened for the season 2 days ago, so hopefully they can pick...

Nice house of Howard Cater. Interesting to see how the archaeologist lived back in the day. Very authentic feel. Offered Egyptian tea by staff. Also replica of tutankhamuns tomb but only worth looking st that if you haven't seen the real thing or have time to spare. Pleasant garden if you need somewhere to cool off in the shade and eat a picnic etc.

It's a beautiful old place that you should visit for sure!! The garden there are really nice they gave us tea and took us around plus they were taking photos of us as well!! It feels good when you go to Howard Carter's office to see how he was thinking before he discovered the tomb of King Tut!!

Great place of modern history: get to know all about Howard Carter and his live Situation during the time when he explored King‘s Valley and discover the tomb of Tut-Anch-Amun - probably one of the most important, unique, and breathtaking found in modern archeology!!! must see :)
