We booked an Airbnb in Topaz Sokhna expecting a relaxing getaway, but it turned into an absolute nightmare. The water was completely cut off from the moment we checked in, and we had no running water for THREE whole days. No showers, no flushing toilets, no cleaning, NOTHING.

The most frustrating part wasn’t even the water cut—it was the complete lack of responsibility from the compound management. We were passed around from one person to another, each claiming it wasn’t their problem. Not a single proper solution was offered. No temporary water supply, no compensation, not even the decency of honest communication.

This is not just bad management—it’s gross negligence. The fact that a “resort” can go days without providing its guests with one of the most basic human needs is beyond unacceptable.

Horrendous Stay – No Water for 3 Days & Zero Accountability

This was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I stayed at this compound and for three whole days, there was absolutely no water – no showers, no flushing toilets, not even a drop from the taps. It was completely unlivable.

To make matters worse, the communication from management was a total disaster. Instead of being honest or helpful, we were passed around from one person to another, each one dodging responsibility. No one had answers, no one took accountability, and the information we were given was either vague or completely misleading. It felt like they just didn’t care.

The pool is very good but unfortunately long sleeves swimming suits are not allowed there, so if you are a female with a veil or you're comfortable with the long sleeves, you can't swim in there...

The beach is surrounded by strange sharp rocky areas that can hurts your feet & you may find those things 2 meter away from the beach line which minimize the area for swimming...
