Lake Suchitlán — Attraction in Departamento de Chalatenango

It's very strange that this place has a 4.5 rating. We took a boattrip in this supposedly water bird nature reserve. Yes, there are birds. But you need to wade through tons of garbage to get there. This is very nice and tranquil lake! It has waterfront restaurants, pools, and a park. It also offered boat trips at a very affordable rate. Our guide even connected us with a restaurant on the other side of the lake which served AMAZING food!! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit there!...
