I used to LOVE this place so much! When it wasn’t flooded with tourists. It’s still a beautiful place and so much fun for family. The reason for my 3 stars is because the people charging were rude and the customer service from the guy charging was just not it. This is a government ran establishment and they charge $3 for foreigners and $1.50 for nationals. They REQUIRE a DUI to verify your nationality. Mine was expired so he was not willing to accept it. I offered my U.S valid passport that clearly states I was born in El Salvador and he didn’t want to use it. I paid as a foreigner and so did my son. It’s not the $1.50 extra that I had to pay because that’s not a lot. It’s the fact that he was not willing to take my valid passport as a valid government document. I hated the feeling of being treated as a foreigner in my own country. I wish their customer service was better. We went on a Monday and it was packed. Not a lot shaded places to sit. They now have a lifeguard too which is a good thing. Many little shops inside to buy food and snacks. Overall it’s still worth the visit but the customer service...

Gorgeous place to visit! Water is from a natural cold spring. Water is very cold. There's three pools... Each feeding the other from top to bottom. The top one has baby fish that will dibble on your toes. Amazing views. Great place for family if you have kids, they'll love it. Slide doesn't work, but they have other kiddie play place with water. There's picnic areas. Be aware that if you want a lawn chair, they'll rent it to you, but you'll have to haul it yourself. Best to get a table with a hammock if you have a large group. Lockers are available also. This place opens at 8am, closes at 4pm. There's plenty of food options since they have a food court that caters to Americans, and food court that caters local foods l... You must try the Yucca Frita con Chicharrón.. so delicioso.. essentially it's fried pork beef chunks with fried yucca root (potato type texture) topped with pickled cabbage (aka: curtido) and tomato based sauce....

What a fun day out! It was very full when we attended as it was the weekend. $3 entry unless you have ID with your address so if you live locally, be sure to bring it. A great day out for the family. The water is nice and refreshing on a hot day, the pools near the waterfall has a nice depth to them so we could swim freely. We enjoyed all areas the big slide was a highlight

There are many stairs to climb to get from one area to the next, they have handrails on most stairs. However, they can be quite dangerous. They have some spots that are particularly slippery, I myself slipped down a set of stairs even when holding onto the handrail. I saw 3 others slip when I attended.

This is a safety concern that should be addressed asap. They also need more facilities there was a long line and wait time for the bathroom or change rooms.

The car park was limited and the queue to enter was on the street...

This beautiful nature park is a fantastic place to spend a day. The spring water is clean and incredibly refreshing. It's quite chilly, so my best advice is to just jump right in! We spotted a several large fish swimming near the waterfall, which was a neat surprise. For food, there are inexpensive vendors in the center of the park. You'll find two other vendors right past the entrance selling snacks and fun pool floaties. The park offers picnic tables and hammock rentals, and you're welcome to bring your own coolers and outside food—just remember that alcohol is not permitted. Keep in mind the park's cleaning schedule: * **Mondays:** The large family pool is closed. * **Tuesdays:** The large natural pool is closed. For the full experience, the best days to visit and enjoy all the pools are Wednesday through Sunday

Los Chorros Recreational Park is a must-visit! Scored premium parking and the entrance was smooth. This place is huge, giving everyone enough space to enjoy without feeling crowded. The water is a bit cold and deep, but it's the perfect way to cool down and feel amazing. Loved the variety of swimming spots and the tropical atmosphere – it's pure enjoyment and entertainment. Plus, there are food spots everywhere, so you're spoiled for choice. The peach ice cream I had was the cherry on top after a great swim. Whether you're with family or friends, you're in for a fantastic time. Highly recommend! 🏊‍♂️🍑🍦
