We loved this place and it was worth the visit. When we arrived we were impressed by the waterfall but disgusted by the amount of trash in and around the water. It was filthy. So we came back with large trash bags and got into the water and cleaned up 100% of the bottles, shoes, wrappers, etc. I guess it's strange to me that tourists come and clean up your natural heritage site, but it really was cool to spend a few days there doing yoga and camping once it was clean. El Salto el Escuco es un lugar que debes visitar que ni qué. Puedes llegar a ella 1) caminando desde la Parroquia Santo Domingo de Guzman o 2) en vehículo en calle pavimentada y después caminar un pequeño tramo. Si eliges la segunda opción te sugerimos manejes con cuidado ya que la calle es estrecha y de doble vía, además no hay parqueo adecuado para dejar el vehículo.

Este bello lugar está lleno de historias, misticismo y belleza natural, sus aguas son heladas y su profundidad no supera los 3 metros en la parte de la cascada por tanto puedes nadar hacia ella sin problemas. Es un espectáculo ver a las golondrinas revolotear por todo el lugar.

Para mantener la integridad natural recuerda no botar basura y deja limpia el área donde te encuentres, además el lugar no cuenta con desvestideros así que tendrás que ingeniártelas para cambiarte pero eso es lo de menos.
