Surprisingly nice place to visit. The owner (woman on photos) will show you in real time how everything working. From start to end shows how in old times flour was made. The only working water mill in Estonia. There is a small shop as well, so you can buy some souvenirs. I would recommend to visit this place.

It is a good place to see how in early times people make flour and cook bread. We cooked our own bread. Then we watched the grinding process and how the different kinds of crop and flour products are made. The views are wonderful. It is a nice and quiet place.

Wir haben in einem der toll eingerichteten Zimmer in der alten Mühle übernachtet. Es war ein Traum, alles war mit viel Liebe und Mühe restauriert worden. Das Frühstück in der alten Schmiede war ein weiteres Highlight. Wir bekamen dann auch eine private Führung durch die noch voll funktionstüchtige alte Mühle. Danke an Mae und Antti, was für ein wunderbarer Ort.

По дороге из Отепяэ в Тарту есть немало интересных достопримечательностей. Одна из них – водяная мельница Хелленурме на берегу реки Эльва, построенная в 1880 году семьей Миддендорф.
