Ristna Lighthouse — Attraction in Hiiumaa vald

Majakka sijaitsee Ristnan pohjoisniemessä, melko lähellä Kõpun majakkaa, joka on rakennettu mäen päälle soiden keskelle. Sen vuoksi majakka on toisinaan sumun peitossa. The lighthouse is located on the northern promontory of Restna, near the Kubo Lighthouse, built on top of a hill in the middle of the marsh. This lighthouse was designed by Gustav Eiffel who designed another tower in Paris apparently. :) It's worth a visit for that reason alone. It's in the woods and not too close to the sea. The stairs up is very narrow so hopefully you don't get others coming down. Once on top there is plenty of space and a very nice open feeling of air and space.
