Põlva Peasant Museum (Talurahva Muuseum) an interesting place for all ages and very kid friendly as there's plenty of space for kids to explore and run around..... a small entry fee (3 euro) and a little place to grab a postcard, tourist info/brochures or ice-cream or a cold drink (but no cafe)....it's a lovely place to bring your own picnic lunch with you........Our favourite part of the museum is the original Windmill and the original school and teacher's cottage, it's so cute........think it's best to visit in Spring/Summer beware the pesky bees...

You get to wander around on your own, and take it all in.
Buildings are decorated based on what those rooms had been in the past. They've done an amazing job recreating the past and obtaining everything from that time.
It was nostalgic to see some of the things from my youth and my mom loved reliving her youth.

There were so many different houses to visit and cool little facts about the history of Estonia and how people lived. Also, we could get fresh spring water!
