Eestis suuruselt teine veehoidla Harjumaal Kose vallas. Paunküla veehoidla loodi 1960. aastal Pirita jõe paisutamisega Paunküla ja Ardu küla vahel. Selle pindala on oli algusaastail 350 ha. Mahtu suurendati 1975–76. Praegune pindala on 415,8 ha ja koos saartega 447,2 ha.

Koht sobib hästi ajaviitmiseks, sh lastega peredele. Paisjärv on puhas ja hooldatud. Hea...
