Hello!
I am writing with reference to our yesterday's venture. We were celebrating a Bachelor's party with 6 people. Everything was arranged in advance, thus we avoided any probable inconveniences upon entering the trails.
We stored our belongings, received the gear, were instructed how to use it and off we went.
The first 3 trails were full of excitement, because w had some time do adapt, rejoice the company and no one struggled with the complexity of the trails.
Nevertheless, the predicament we got into commenced on the 4th trail. The problem implied a group/a family of parents and small kids, who obviously made a solid decision to climb up and conquer the trail.
Apart from neglecting one of the requirements (Min. height 1,40m), kids were not psychologically ready to get up there and complete it solely by themselves.
In the long run, the overall trail took us (and other participants) approximately 1,5-2h to complete, since kids were stuck somewhere in the middle, or could not brace themselves for the final zipline jump, etc. The waiting was incredibly exhausting, full of negative emotions and was really exasperating.
We were stuck on the platforms or in the middle of an obstacle and had to wait.
Overall, when the park was already closed (20:00), we were still dangling on the top of the 4th trail (it must be mentioned that we obviously have not completed the last 2). The reception desk was closed, and our belongings had to be retrieved by looking for staff on the territory.
I strongly suggest you to think on the possible age limitations concerning every single trails starting from the...
Read moreAll good, excellent infrastructure and facilities, pleasant and lovely staff (except for the discrimination point described below), and a really nice place to test your strength, stamina and agility.
A few cons… first, some of the trails have design flaws - e.g. you can get stuck part way through with no chance of going back (because the other path you used to get there is one-directional due to its structure) nor any chance of getting any adequate help - that is, without someone actually climbing all the way up to you, and even then it is quite questionable as to the the extent to which any help can be rendered. One might reasonably expect to see some kind of emergency ladders / ropes to climb down - none exist.
The second con… at one point I needed a member of the staff to throw me a rope to be able to move on to the next platform. A member of staff, when asked by one of my friends in Russian, replied something along the lines of ‘I am an Estonian, I can’t be bothered to speak in a language that you could understand unless it is my language’… really? Does not this place hold itself out as a nice family-friendly and tourist-welcoming entertainment venue?
All in all… apart from the rather unpleasant incident with a certain member of staff… a...
Read moreToday we unfortunately had a really unfriendly experience. We had our dog with us (on a leash) and stayed at the restaurant area outside. Just when we had already ordered our food a man came (from the sport center) to tell us that dogs are not welcome on the site. Although there were actually no signs, that indicated that pets are not welcome (we really couldn't find them anywhere), and there were also other dogs there with their owners. We kindly said that we are sorry and asked how we should proceed because we had already ordered our foods, then the man said that it's ok for this time as we already had ordered our meals. Later when we had finished our meals and we started to head out we met with another dog owner and had a small chat with him, the sport center guy came back and started complaining (in a really impolite manner!!!) that we shouldn't let our dogs sniff eachother on their territory. We left the place immediately and will...
