A wooden chapel of the "coastal swedes" (a swedish speaking minority that used to live in coastal areas of western Estonia and who next to totally escaped the soviet invasion in 1944 to Sweden), built in 1699. Transferred to the museum in 1970.

Was not open in October, but beautiful and amazing even from the outside. The chapel reminds of the history of the small ethnic minority that is nowadays almost totally...

Esta capilla, única en la costa de Suecia, es una de las iglesias de madera más antiguas de Estonia (1699). Su mobiliario refleja una mezcla de arte campesino y barroco: paredes encaladas, pequeñas vidrieras en la pared del altar, un púlpito bajo con un panel (1837), mesa de altar y reja, una base de vasija bautismal sobre un pie alto. A ambos lados del pasillo hay sencillos bancos de madera para los campesinos, los caballeros se sentaban en bancos separados al lado del altar. La capilla también cuenta con un pequeño campanario con la imagen de una lira de hierro en lo alto...
