Viimsi Open Air Museum — Attraction in Viimsi vald

Great Museum under open air situated on the coast with an awesome view of the Tallinn Bay. Multiple buildings of a fisherman's village from the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century are perfectly restored. An accurately restored and well-preserved fisherman's/merchant's wooden boat from the 18th/19th centuries, on which many generations sailed across the Gulf of Finland, is a unique exhibit of this museum. Nice place. You pay 3,5 euro for one museum or 5 euro if combine with second one (located in 1 km from this). Museum relatively small but has impressive exposition. Worth to visit if you want to know more about coastal folk, their lifestyle, salt contrabanda abd so on. Marvelous view on Tallinn...
